THE SILENT ANGEL
MEMORIAL

23rd Annual Silent Angel Memorial
...

The 23rd Annual Silent Angel Memorial was held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department in Lexington Park.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate the lives of their loved ones lost far too soon.

The Memorial was led by Master of Ceremonies Detective Edward Vogt of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. Chaplain Charlie Wharton of the St. Mary's County Church of Christ said a prayer for the friends and families in attendance before a warm welcome from Sheriff Steven Hall.  This year's guest speaker was The Arnold Family, who shared their story of Victims Stephen and Rosalea Arnold. As the names of our Silent Angels were read by Sgt. Austin Schultz and Detective David Lawrence, Angel ornaments were presented to family and friends by Detective Bowling of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office.
