THE SILENT ANGEL
MEMORIAL

22nd Annual Silent Angel Memorial
...

The 22nd Annual Silent Angel Memorial was held on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, at the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department in Lexington Park.  Family and friends gathered to celebrate the lives of their loved ones lost far too soon.

The Memorial was led by Master of Ceremonies Sgt. Christopher Beyer of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. Chaplain Charlie Wharton of the St. Mary's County Church of Christ said a prayer for the friends and families in attendance before a warming welcome was received by Sheriff Steven Hall.  This year's guest speaker was Melissa Willey, Mother of Murder Victim Jaelynn Willey. As the names of our Silent Angels were read aloud by Sgt. Schultz and Lt. Krum, Angel ornaments were presented to family and friends by Detective Bowling of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office.
