The 24th Annual Silent Angel Memorial was held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department in Lexington Park.
Family and friends gathered to celebrate the lives of their loved ones lost far too soon.
The Memorial was led by Master of Ceremonies Detective Vogt of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. Chaplain Charlie Wharton of the St. Mary's County Church of Christ offered a prayer for the friends and families in attendance before a warm welcome from St. Mary's County Sheriff Steven Hall. This year's guest speaker was Chaplain Charlie Wharton, who shared the story of Victims Martina Patterson and Lyneasha Greenwell.
As the names of our Silent Angels were read by Detective Forinash and Detective Lawrence, Angel ornaments were presented to family and friends by Detective Bowling of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office.
